Paloma Barcelo 'was born in Spain in 1960 when Manolo Barcelo' decided to found his own line, dedicating this label to his daughter Paloma. Since the beginning, the company has specialized in espadrilles and rope wedges. Thanks to Manolo's skill in crafting ropes and weaving, his creations conquer a large audience. In 2010, his son Manuel took over the management of the company, creating high quality handcrafted footwear with a typical Spanish style. The latter is characterized by the materials used such as leather, cotton or canvas for the upper part and raffia, rope or rubber for the soles. The beating heart of the business remains in Elche, Spain, keeping alive the most traditional values.
