In 1968 Mario Giannini opened a small artisan shoe workshop in the Marche with the name of"Ducale". Right from the start, the first customers of the small workshop belong to the highest ranks of the company. In a few years, the small laboratory turns into a real company:Doucal's; an English name to describe Made in Italy combined with the quality of Made in England footwear. The founder thus maintains a shoe that lasts over time, but which has a unique fit and wearability compared to the rigidity of English footwear. Thanks to the entry of the two sons, the company has grown considerably, who have managed to transform an artisan production workshop into a real industrial reality.
